Telestai is a Web3 project that fosters free discussion through user-generated content. It combines a decentralized identity solution – Zeroa – and a decentralized content platform – Lasko – to create an ecosystem where open discourse is encouraged and incentivized, and disagreement doesn’t result in user exclusion.
The Lasko platform is designed around usability and ensures creators own their content while establishing clear standards for amicability. Lasko enables constructive free speech t hat empowers users by protecting t heir opinions and encouraging respectful interactions.
Challenge
Social and digital media platforms like TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube employ methods of centralized content moderation to ensure posts adhere to platform guidelines, leading to the wrongful censorship of legitimate, insightful content.
Telestai struggled with finding a content moderation solution for Lasko that mitigated t he spread of harmful misinformation and disinformation while encouraging active participation. Telestai did not want to alienate creators by censoring t heir content and shadow banning their accounts simply because other users disagreed. Lasko needed a way to review content t hat balanced appropriate free expression with logical moderation.
Solution
Telestai integrated FluxAI to leverage decentralized AI for automated content review before posts are made public. The solution includes leveraging the FluxAI API – a programmatic interface for customizable integrations with AI models – through which users set up nodes that store and secure content data on the Flux network, which will later be uploaded to Lasko. FluxAI models do not moderate user identities or content veracity, encouraging users to do t heir own research. FluxAI models will proactively prevent spam and posts that glorify violence.
